Bond yields flat, call rate rises
25-Apr-2017

The 6.79 per cent G-Sec maturing in 2029 rose to Rs.97.57 from Rs.97.55 previously, while its yield remained steady at 7.08 per cent. The overnight call money rate turned higher due to good demand from borrowing banks amid tight liquidity in the banking system. It finished at 6.30 per cent from last Friday’s 6.05 per cent. Its resumed higher at 6.20 per cent and moved in the 6-6.30 per cent range.
