Online marketplace Flipkart is set to launch its first umbrella private label ‘Flipkart Smartbuy’ which will retail electronic accessories and home plastic products. This is the first among several private labels the ecommerce platform is set to launch in the next six months. The Flipkart Smartbuy brand will also have personal care electronic items such as trimmers, hair dryers and hair straighteners. The marketplace also plans to launch a second brand by March which will retail furniture, small appliances, home décor and furnishings.
