Boeing said on Tuesday that it delivered 51 jets in August, a slight dip from the previous month and down from 57 jets a year earlier, as the number of 787 Dreamliners handed to customers declined. • The U.S. planemaker delivered only four 787s, down from nine the prior August. A spokesperson said the drop in deliveries was not due to any production, supply chain or certification problems. That brought total deliveries of its popular wide-body in 2026 to 54 through August.
