Anthropic’s revenue rose sharply in the third quarter, its net loss narrowed from the previous quarter, according to an amended filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday. The artificial intelligence (AI) company reported revenue of $16.96 billion for the three months ended September 30, 2026, up from $11.56 billion in the previous quarter. Its net loss fell to $23.29 billion from $66.3 billion in the three months ended June 30. However, Anthropic reported an operating loss of $567 million in the third quarter, compared with operating income of $974 million in the second quarter. The latest filing gives investors a more detailed picture of the Claude maker’s finances as it prepares to go public. Anthropic filed its initial prospectus last week, setting the stage for what could become one of the largest initial public offerings (IPOs) on record.
