Companies with high credit ratings shifting to bond market as bank loans become dearer

Companies with high credit ratings are increasingly turning to the bond market to raise funds due to relatively cheaper costs when compared with banks. Data compiled by PTI showed that AAA-rated corporates raised funds at coupon rates ranging from 8.13 per cent to 8.85 per cent so far in October.
