India’s space economy may reach $45 billion in 7-8 years: What will drive growth?

India’s space economy could grow from an estimated $9 billion to $40 billion-45 billion over the next seven to eight years, Union Minister of State for Space Jitendra Singh said. He said the next phase of growth would depend on turning India’s technological capabilities into commercially successful businesses that can compete in global markets.
