India's economy is projected to expand by 7.1-7.3% in the current financial year (FY27), supported by resilient domestic consumption, public infrastructure spending and signs of a recovery in private investment, according to Deloitte India's latest Economic Outlook released on Friday. The consulting firm expects GDP growth to moderate to 6.6-7.0% in FY28, while cautioning that geopolitical tensions, fluctuations in energy prices and disruptions to global trade could weigh on the country's economic prospects.
