Goods exports jump 23% in Sept; seen to top $550 bn in FY27

India’s merchandise exports surged 23% year-on-year to $44.4 billion in September, led by brisk shipments of engineering goods, electronics and petroleum products, raising hopes that annual goods shipments could exceed $550 billion despite global trade uncertainties.
