Boston Federal Reserve President Susan Collins said on Tuesday she believes the US central bank will need to raise interest rates again before the end of this year to lower high inflation. Collins said she backed the rate hike by the central bank's policy-setting Federal Open Market Committee last month and currently expects "it will be appropriate to raise rates a bit further before the end of the year to ensure a timely and durable return of inflation to the Committee's 2% target."
