Highlighting his vision for West Bengal's industrial growth and its role in India's trillion-dollar economy, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani visited Kolkata on Friday. He laid the foundation stone for the Rs 4,000-crore, 2,000-bed 'Adani Arogya Mandir' in New Town, where 1,000 beds will offer affordable medical treatment for many people. "Development cannot ultimately be measured in cargo volumes, megawatts, tonnes or terabytes. Its true measure must remain deeply human," said Gautam Adani while speaking to entrepreneurs at a programme organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.
