India's forex reserves drop $4.92 billion to $780.78 billion as of September 11

India’s foreign exchange reserves declined by $4.92 billion to $780.78 billion in the week ended September 11, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday. Foreign currency assets (FCA), the largest component of reserves, went down by $2.37 billion during the week to $645.8 billion. FCA holdings were up $95.886 billion from end-March and $63.692 billion from a year earlier. Gold reserves, however, declined by $12.77 billion during the week to $111.22 billion.
