China's January-August Fiscal Revenue up 5.7% Year-On-Year

China's fiscal revenue rose 5.7% in the first eight months of 2026 from a year earlier, finance ministry data showed Friday, slightly down from a 5.8% growth in the January-July period. Fiscal expenditure grew 1.2% year-on-yea over the January-August period, compared with a 1.3% increase in the first seven months.
