Fed hikes rates by 25 bps: Key takeaways from Warsh on inflation, economy and future rates

The US Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25bps on Wednesday, taking the target range to 3.75%-4%, in the first rate hike of Kevin Warsh’s tenure as Fed chair. The decision was unanimous, with the Federal Open Market Committee voting 12-0.
