Avaada Group on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana government to facilitate the development of a 300-acre Zero-CBAM Green Industrial Campus in Hisar, with a proposed investment of approximately `10,000 crore and the potential to generate more than 5,000 employment opportunities. The proposed campus will be powered by reliable, traceable and round-the-clock renewable energy and is designed to support industries seeking to decarbonise operations, strengthen energy security and prepare for evolving global carbon and sustainability requirements, including the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
