Battery electric vehicle registrations in Europe continued to rise in July, with electric cars accounting for more than one in four new vehicles sold as strong growth in France and Germany offset weaker demand in some other markets. Battery electric vehicle, or BEV, registrations across 16 key European markets rose 13.6% year-on-year to 224,266 vehicles in July, giving fully electric cars a 25.7% market share, data from E-Mobility Europe, New Automotive and Fier Automotive showed.
