State-owned engineering major Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has bagged an order from Nigeria's Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Free Zone Enterprise for the supply and commissioning supervision of eight gas turbine generator packages. The order was secured amid intense international competition and was placed by Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Free Zone Enterprise, part of the Dangote Group, a company statement said on Tuesday. The Dangote Group is one of Africa's largest and most diversified conglomerates, with interests spanning oil refining, petrochemicals, fertilisers, cement, sugar and packaging.
