Global investors pour record money into EM equities, but India still misses the party

According to BofA Global Research's latest weekly fund-flow tracker, global emerging-market equity funds attracted $25 billion in the week to July 15 - the largest weekly inflow since April 2025. It formed part of a broader risk-on week: global equity funds took in $55.8 billion overall, bonds added $20 billion, and a hefty $119.6 billion came out of cash, the biggest cash outflow since April 2026.
