The footprint of Indian businesses in the UK expanded sharply this year, with the number of Indian-owned companies rising nearly 60% from a year earlier and combined revenues surpassing £105 billion, according to the latest India Meets Britain Tracker published by Grant Thornton UK. The 2026 edition of the report found that 1,912 Indian-owned businesses are now operating in the UK, up from 1,197 in the previous year, with their combined turnover reaching £105.77 billion compared with £72.14 billion in 2025.
