China's rare earth exports were valued at $64.2 million in April 2026, according to preliminary trade data released by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC), ANI reported. The customs data showed that China exported 5,308.6 tonnes of rare earths during the month. China's overall exports rose 12 per cent month-on-month in April, while the country's total trade stood at $634.06 billion. According to the GACC data, China's total exports during April were valued at $359.44 billion, while imports stood at $274.62 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $84.82 billion. The customs administration said the country's total trade, export and import value increased 7.2 per cent month-on-month.
