French automaker Renault is restructuring its India operations as part of a broader strategic overhaul aimed at sharpening its manufacturing focus and strengthening the country’s role as a global export hub. In a statement issued on Thursday, Renault Group India said it has approached the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) seeking approval for a proposed realignment of its business structure in the country. The plan involves separating powertrain manufacturing from vehicle manufacturing and sales operations.
