How Paytm's Separation From PPBL Secured Its Future

When the central bank initiated action on Paytm Payments Bank Ltd.(PPBL) in early 2024, Paytm (One 97 Communications Ltd.) moved to clearly separate its core operations from the entity, ensuring its payments and financial services businesses operate independently. This decision has since drawn praise from at least six top domestic and international brokerages tracking the payments major.
