ITR filing 2026: Government releases ITR forms for AY 2026-27; check details of ITR-U and ITR-V

The Income Tax (1-T) Department has notified new Income Tax Return (ITR) forms along with the updated ITR-U (updated ITR) form and the ITR-V (ITR verification) form for the assessment year 2026-27. The ITR-V form will come into effect on March 31, 2026, and will apply in respect of returns filed for the Assessment Year 2026-27.
