However, if the situation is prolonged, it could lead to a recession, he said in an interview to Moneycontrol. He believes India is unlikely to be the worst affected, even in the event of a global recession, though it will not be completely insulated. Strong domestic demand and robust pre-war macro fundamentals provides cushion against such global crisis, he said.
