Singapore Core Inflation at 1.4% Y/y in February, Slightly Higher Than Expected

Singapore's key consumer price gauge rose 1.4% in February from a year earlier, official data showed on Monday. The core inflation rate, which excludes private road transport and accommodation costs, was slightly higher than the median forecast of 1.3% in a Reuters poll of economists.
