BYD February vehicle sales fall at steepest pace since pandemic

Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD recorded the biggest fall in global sales in six years last month against a backdrop of fierce competition in the world's largest auto market. BYD's February sales dropped 41.1% from a year earlier, the sixth consecutive month of decline, according to a stock market filing on Sunday. The fall last month was the biggest since February 2020 when the economy was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
