India's GST collections rise 8.1% YoY to Rs 1.83 lakh crore in February

India's gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection rose to Rs 1.83 lakh crore in February 2026, reporting a rise of by 8.1% as compared to the same period last month, as per official data released on Sunday. The total gross GST revenue for FY26 as on February 28 stood at Rs 20.27 lakh crore, up 8.3% YoY. Total refunds stood at Rs 22,595 crore, up by 10.2% YoY, resulting in net GST revenue of Rs 1.61 lakh crore in February.
