Euro zone yields rise, await US data, Middle East tensions in focus

Euro zone government bond yields rose on Thursday, staying close to their multi-month lows and echoing moves in U.S. Treasuries, while markets continued to price less than a 50% chance of a European Central Bank rate cut in 2026. Investors were also concerned about the potential inflationary impact of a further rise in oil prices, driven by escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran.
