For India, this isn't merely an opportunity but a strategic Imperative. Living systems are the original intelligent machines. Cells sense, compute and respond through intricate signalling networks, gene regulation circuits, and immune memory. These systems operate within inbuilt biological guard rails, which focus on feedback loops and control mechanisms that maintain homeostasis, or health equilibrium.
