The market has not crashed. There is no emergency policy announcement or any kind of global shock unfolding. Yet, Jasmine feels uneasy. Her diversified equity mutual fund is down 4.4%. A large-cap stock she bought last year has slipped below her purchase price. She tells herself that this is normal; markets fluctuate. Still, she opens the app again. And again.
