The monthly mutual fund SIP inflows remained above Rs 31,000 crore for the second consecutive month in January 2026. A monthly contribution of Rs 31,002 crore was recorded in December. On a yearly basis, the monthly SIP inflow went up by 17% from Rs 26,400 crore in January 2025. SIP assets stood at Rs 16,36,082.09 lakh crore in January 2026, accounting for 20.2% of total mutual fund assets. The number of Contributing SIP accounts stood at 9,92,18,602 in January 2026. Mutual Fund Folios are at 26,63,13,561 as of January 2026 with 50.6 lakh net folios being added during the month. Folios as of December 2025 stood at 26,12,53,836.
