RBI issues draft rules for credit derivatives and total return swaps linked to corporate bonds

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released draft rules for derivatives on credit indices and total return swaps (TRS) linked to corporate bonds. RBI in the draft said that a well-functioning credit derivatives market will improve liquidity in the corporate bond market and make it easier for companies across credit ratings to raise funds.
