Exide Industries to grow exports by taking advantage of trade deals

India's largest storage battery maker Exide Industries plans to ramp up its exports to the EU and the US, taking advantage of the India-EU free trade agreement as well as the lowering of tariffs by US President Donald Trump. Exide managing director Avik Kumar Roy Tuesday said the company is looking at Rs 400-500 crore incremental exports in FY27 over the current base of Rs 1,600 crore, which translates into a 25% annual growth.
