PM Modi wants you to claim your unclaimed money — bank deposits, insurance and MFs worth over Rs 1 lakh crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has exhorted citizens to check whether they or their family members have unclaimed deposits in banks, mutual funds, insurance policies or dividends, worth over Rs 1 lakh crore. The PM said the time has come to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. Calling it a “Your Money, Your Right” movement, the Prime Minister appealed to people to “convert forgotten financial assets into opportunities”.
