SBI Research said that India’s GDP is expected to see a 7 per cent growth in the third and fourth quarters of fiscal year 2025-26. As the GDP growth rate in Q1 and Q2 was at 7.8 per cent and 8.2 per cent, the overall growth rate for FY26 is projected at 7.6 per cent, the report added. “After GST rationalisation, amid festive spending, rural demand remained robust and urban demand is recovering. We expect more than 7 per cent Q3FY26 and Q4FY26 GDP growth with full year growth of 7.6 per cent,” SBI Research noted.
