JSW Energy commissions first green hydrogen plant; targets 85,000–90,000 tonnes green hydrogen per annum by 2030

JSW Energy has commissioned its first green hydrogen plant. In an exchange filing, the JSW Group company said that the facility is India’s largest green hydrogen manufacturing plant. JSW Energy said that it will supply the produced green hydrogen to the adjacent JSW Steel facility for use in steel production. The company added that the energy production plant will supply 3,800 tonne per annum of green hydrogen, along with 30,000 tonnes per annum of oxygen to the JSW Energy facility. Both facilities are located in Vijaynagar, Karnataka.
