German Tax Revenues up 2.6% in September, Finance Ministry Says

Germany's federal and state government tax revenues were up 2.6% in September from the same month a year ago, the finance ministry said in a report on Tuesday, adding that tax revenues will not get a boost from economic momentum in the short term. Germany, Europe's largest economy, contracted in 2024 for the second consecutive year, and the government expects only 0.2% growth this year.
