Turkish Airlines said on Friday it would order 75 Boeing 787 aircraft and had completed negotiations to buy 150 737 MAX planes, subject to engine talks, unveiling a long-awaited deal after a meeting between the two countries' leaders. President Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday met U.S. President Donald Trump, who said he believed Turkey would agree to his request to stop buying Russian oil and that he may lift U.S. sanctions on Ankara so it can buy American F-35 jets. Trump said ahead of the talks that the Boeing order would also be under discussion.
