UK Budget Watchdog Expects to Downgrade Productivity Outlook, FT Reports

Britain's budget watchdog has told finance minister Rachel Reeves that it was likely to downgrade its productivity forecasts, adding to fiscal pressures ahead of her annual budget on November 26, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday. "We don't know precisely what they are going to say on productivity, but we have been given indications there will be a downgrade," the FT quoted an unidentified government official as saying.
