Adani Power Q1 FY26 results: Profit slips 15% due to increasing costs and lower merchant tariffs

Adani Power’s net profit declined by 15.5 per cent YoY in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025-26. The company posted a net profit of Rs 3305 crore in Q1 FY26 against a net profit of Rs 3912 crore in Q1FY25. Furthermore, the Adani Group company’s revenue also declined by 5.6 per cent YoY in Q1FY26. The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 14,109 crore in Q1FY26, while in the corresponding quarter of FY25, it registered a revenue of Rs 14,955 crore.
