Yes Bank Q1 setback: Deposits, loans slide despite strong liquidity—What’s the big worry?

Yes Bank released its quarterly business report on Thursday. As per the provisional report, the bank suffered a decline in both deposits and advances in the quarter. Yes Bank posted a 3 per cent quarter-on-quarter decline in its deposits in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26. In the same period, the bank posted a 2 percent decline in its loans and advances as well.
