Public investment in social, digital and physical infrastructure is a key pillar driving India's growth, transforming sectors and building vital foundations for economic progress, said Ashwini Vaishnaw, union minister for electronics and IT, railways, and information and broadcasting, in New Delhi on Thursday. "It is building the foundations of the country, whether it is the foundation in education, in healthcare, in ports, in airports, in highways, railways - close to ?11 lakh crore rupees investment is being done," said Vaishnaw, while speaking at summit.
