The renewable energy arm of diversified conglomerate Adani Group – Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) on Thursday announced its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY 2025 has increased 32% to Rs 1,390 crore. The company posted a net profit of Rs 1,051 crore in the year-ago period. The Adani Group firm's total income from power supply increased 24% to Rs 2,528 crore during the quarter as compared to Rs 2,025 crore in the year-ago period. The robust growth in revenue, EBITDA and cash profit was primarily driven by a capacity addition of 2,618 MW over the last year, the company said in a statement.
