New Zealand business sentiment fell in October from the previous month, an ANZ Bank preliminary survey showed on Wednesday, as the country’s largest city, Auckland, remains in a lockdown to contain an outbreak of the Delta variant of the coronavirus. The survey’s headline measure showed a net 8.6% of respondents expected the economy to deteriorate over the year ahead. It compared with a 7.2% pessimism level in the previous poll in September.
