Quarterly review, fund boost for startups soon

The government plans to increase investments in startups by boosting the amount allocated to the Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS) and also start a quarterly review to assess their issues and support their needs. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade wants to increase the corpus of the Rs 10,000-crore FFS and will take up the matter with the finance ministry, officials said.
